Reggae Land Festival wanted to create a standout piece of content that would cut through social media noise and build tanticipation ahead of the event. The goal was to tap into UK pop culture in a fun and shareable way that celebrated reggae’s legacy while engaging a younger digital audience. The brief called for something bold, funny, and unmistakably viral — a campaign that would generate huge reach while staying authentic to the festival’s spirit.
We developed and delivered a viral promotional video featuring General Levy alongside the UK’s leading Ali G impersonator, recreating the iconic scene from the Ali G Indahouse movie. The result was a hilarious and instantly shareable piece of content that captured both nostalgia and humour — perfectly aligning with the festival’s energy. The video exploded across social media, amassing over 10 million views and earning widespread organic engagement, making it one of the most successful viral festival campaigns of the year.
